OBI Earns a Split in Split DoubleHeader

OBI downed the Dirty Dozen 15-5,,, got pretty hammered,,, then fell short on a come back bid against Far From Limpin' by taking it on the chin 9-15 ...

In an odd scheduling quirk, OBI and Dirty Dozen squared off in three consecutive games played during Weeks 4 & 5 ... OBI outscored DD by a combined 54-26 score over the 3 game stretch.

Highlight of this weeks game was 6th inning 8-run outburst that put the game away. Fill-In Chris So. homered twice in the inning ,,, actually his 2nd HR was an out so there is that.

The Defense played well once again,,, with Juan Reynoso continuing to make his infield teammates look good... Us infield types like that I tell ya... lol


Game 2 was an out of chararcter offensive slow start for OBI. We were held scoreless by FFL till a 5-run third inning. We were in the game after that but seemed to lack a bit of spark during the game...

All agreed that we believe ourselves to still be winless on 2nd games of split DHs ... Curse that Victory Lane League Scheduler Type Person ... grrrrrrrrrrrrr


7-3 OBI is tied for 3rd Place in 16 team Season 1 league play. Only two regular season weeks remain until the first Victory Lane League Tourney...
